OVERVIEW

Treat yourself to the spectacular sunsets of West Point on Magnetic Island, with the sun setting over the Coral Sea and overlooking the mainland on our fun 2.5 hour West Point Sunset Safari. Includes koala spotting and a photo stop along the way, plus nocturnal wildlife spotting on your return trip.

FITNESS LEVEL & ACCESSIBILITY
A little low impact walking along the beach at West Point. We have a drop down step to the bus that also makes accessibility easier.

DEPARTING FROM NELLY BAY ferry terminal (April-Dec)

Departs Nelly Bay ferry terminal: 4.25pm
Returns Nelly Bay ferry terminal: 7.30 - 7.45pm (depending on winter/summer season).

(8pm ferry to Townsville)

Simply pre-book your dinner in Picnic Bay or Nelly Bay, and catch a later bus and/or ferry home!

TOUR INCLUDES

One complimentary champagne, wine, beer, soft drink or fruit juice when you arrive at West Point. Additional drinks are available for purchase during your sunset stop. (No BYO please).
A shared, seasonal grazing platter.
Picnic rug or chair.

HELPING TO SAVE OUR WILDLIFE

We donate a percentage of our profits from every West Point Sunset Safari Tour to support Magnetic Island Wildlife Rescue (MIWR).

PLEASE NOTE:

To allow for preparation time, bookings close 2 hours prior to the departure time of each tour.
There is no access to toilets on this remote tour. Tim your tour guide will take you to facilities before the tour starts and once the tour ends.
This tour is weather dependent, particularly during the wet season (between December and March).

West Coast Eco Tour

2. 西海岸生态探险

OVERVIEW

Discover the other side of Magnetic Island that few people experience, on our fun 3.5 hour guided West Coast Eco Adventure, plus koala and wildlife spotting and photo opportunities along the way!

We will take a slow bus trip along the West Point road as we explore mangroves, forests, waterfalls, creeks, as well as historic and cultural sites. Some points of interest will vary according to tides and weather, i.e., mangroves at high or low tide, and waterfalls in or out of wet season.

FITNESS LEVEL & ACCESSIBILITY

A little low impact walking will be done during the tour, and may include 2 to 3 short walks through the mangroves, the salt marshes, along creek lines and along the beach at West Point. All walks will be easy in nature. This tour offers a more a relaxing wander rather than an active adventure.

We have a drop down step to the bus that also makes accessibility easier.
